This week the team finished the first iteration of the dual stepper motor syringe. Missing a key part that was backordered, it works fine but not ideal. We split of final responsibilities for VandV. Zanes responsibilities are evaluating the feasibility of designing a solenoid, and designing a verification method for the reliability of the magnet system we decide on. Bert responsibilities are designing a verification test for the delivery of MNPs and the errors of those concentrations. Quinlans immediate responsibilities are designing a verification and validation for the syringe liquid delivery and to determine its error and the proper conversion calculations. Next steps are coding a bnc connection, and lcd screen, and designed a pcb board for the most ideal connections. We are also going to evaluate our choice two from the gant chart, the vertical feeding syringe. We are running into a lot of difficulty designing an open source solenoid with enough power that wont burn up and be dangerous to use.
