Week 28 Report

ahlfingerz

This week, the team assembled the final prototype. Both syringe pumps are mounted to boards and can run with their respective syringes. The drivers and power source still need to be secured in some way to a base platform which would allow easy transport of the entire device. Validation and verification testing have begun and will be completed over the next week. Currently volume delivery verification tests are being performed. Also, a control validation test was run. Our client wanted to see the improvement from our device over a horizontal syringe pump with MNPs. We used one of the syringe pumps at our client's facilities. The team is working on the final report which is due next week. Bert is in the process of making all of the mechanical drawings for 3D printed parts. Quinlan is fine-tuning the software to output the desired volume. Zane is working on the DesignSafe analysis. The team expects to spend a significant amount of time working on the final report and testing over the coming days.
