Week 22 Report

This week, the group assembled the first rendition of the system for proof-of-concept testing. Tests included those for the magnets and for the output of the syringes. New 3D pieces were printed by Bert for the second rendition of the system and the group proceeded to complete a draft of the Verification & Validation report on March 2nd. Once the draft was completed, the group proceeded to add new data that was taken by Quinlan on March 3rd to add to the tables for the testing of the motors and syringes. Documentation for the printed pieces was performed and Zane ordered new electromagnets due to an adjustment needed in the magnetic agitation system. Since most of the week was set out to complete the report, only minor adjustments were done to the system, but the two motor ends pushing the syringes into the y-connector are currently in the process of being controlled and are assembled for testing.
